    Job Title: Court Operations Analyst 2 Agency: Illinois Courts/Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts Closing Date/Time: Fri. 06/08/18 5:00 PM Central Time Salary: $54,563.00 / Year Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sangamon County, Illinois Number of Vacancies: 1 Bid ID#: 242 Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions The Court Operations Analyst 2 position performs advanced analytical report writing, database development and analysis which will serve as a primary element in the improvement of existing court programs and in the development and implementation of new projects and programs within the Judicial Branch. This position also performs advisory and liaison duties to senior staff members, other divisions within the AOIC, and Supreme Court Committees as required. FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: * Serve as coordinator or liaison in assigned area by maintaining effective working relationships with judicial and non-judicial agencies and personnel. * Build and populate databases for the purpose of data collection, analysis, and report preparation. * Provide program data and statistical information to senior staff, judges, judicial clerks, and other court personnel as requested. * Provide technical assistance to the courts for the purpose of evaluating current procedures and resources under review and provide recommendations to improve program data collection methodologies and the use of electronic reporting methods. * Conduct statistical studies of court programs to ascertain strengths and weaknesses of the program's current operational methods including, but not limited to, costs and identifying problem areas for further study. * Assist the Standardized Forms Committee on drafting and development of new forms and orders to enhance self-represented litigants' access to the justice system. * Develop Powerpoint and other presentations for court stakeholders as requested. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in court administration, public administration, or a related area. Three years of progressively responsible experience in program administration preferred. Related experience within either a court or other government administration may be substituted for all or part of the education. Applicant must possess an ability to exercise sound judgment in analyzing data to address court program strengths and weaknesses, ascertain and address court program efficiencies and deficiencies. Applicant must possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and a thorough working and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Applicants who also possess a working and practical knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro will be preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time. Applicant must have the ability to travel, including overnight stays as required. This is a professional office working environment requiring telephone usage and the ability to process written documents. Applicant must possess a valid Illinois driver's license and demonstrate proof of automobile insurance to operate a personal vehicle on state business, as well as maintain a safe driving record.
