Summary: Reporting to the SVP of Practice Management for Steward Medical Group, the Operations Coordinator for the Anesthesia service line will possess administrative oversight of multiple SMG Anesthesia practice locations. The Operations Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to, bi-weekly payroll, vendor invoicing, tracking incentives, provider onboarding, and acting as a liaison between SMG and our billing vendor This position will partner with both SMG Operations and the Anesthesia Physician Service Line Leader as well as multiple Physician Site Leaders, Key Responsibilities: * Billing Will work with both SMG and our outside billing vendor to ensure that they receive all of our documentation and billing information. * Project Management Oversees daily management of all assigned projects and responsible for ensuring timely and thorough completion, communication about barriers/solutions and resources needs. Makes process and/or organization structure suggestions for improvements and changes as needed. Development of new policies and procedures in preparation of project implementation Leads operational task forces. Identifies and develops action plans for new process improvement projects. * Payroll Responsible for bi-weekly payroll for all physicians and CRNAs across SMG. Submits invoices for cross coverage arrangements Works with the Chief of Anesthesia on scheduling providers across multiple campuses. * Provider Onboarding Responsible assisting with the onboarding of anesthesia providers across the different SMG markets. Acts as a liaison with our medical staff office. * Operations Ensure that all providers throughout the service line have completed their annual education. Works closely with IT to ensure that all providers have access to all of the systems and technology in order to be successful in their roles.
