    Ethicon Inc., part of the Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Franchise Health Economics & Market Access (FHEMA) 2024 summer intern.

    The Ethicon business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, hemostasis products, surgical staplers, trocars, energy devices etc. -that are used in a wide variety of open and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

    Role Overview:

    In this role, the Intern will join a collaborative team of Health Economic and Market Access leads who strategize, conduct Real World Evidence (RWE) studies, disseminate economic and clinical outcomes through various outlets, and develop valuable assets to summarize study findings to educate clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

    Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Gain insight into diverse evidence dissemination tools and platforms utilized within Ethicon Inc.
    • Strategizing on efficient ways to structure and present these publications, ensuring easy access for both our team and key partners such as Global Strategic Marketing (GSM), US Marketing (USM), and regional HEMA partners worldwide.
    • Organize and catalog various HEMA assets like market access strategy, key business communications documents, value assets etc. generated across various platforms.

    General:

    • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
    • Hybrid work arrangement - Candidates should have the ability to work on-site for three days per week and remotely for the remaining two days per week.
    • Assignment typically begins in May/June and ends in August. Start/End dates are flexible to accommodate academic calendars.
    • Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) during the Internship.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the Internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
    • A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required, but a GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred.
    • The position is open to all undergraduate students who have completed freshman year in any major.

    Experience and Skills:

    • Proactive Leadership with Technology: Take the initiative in diverse projects, leading the way in leveraging technology to streamline the organization and management of study results and various dissemination materials.
    • Curiosity and Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a genuine interest in exploring various facets of the healthcare sector, eagerly absorbing knowledge and understanding emerging trends. Seize mentorship opportunities to deepen understanding and cultivate valuable skills relevant to the field.
    • Initiative and Adaptability: Exhibit a proactive approach to tasks, taking ownership of projects and seeking opportunities to contribute creatively. Display flexibility by effectively collaborating within a team or working autonomously when necessary.
    • Strongly preferred but not necessarily a requirement- Fluency in various MS tools and technical searches.
