    Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) is recruiting for Supplier Management & Operational Excellence (SMOx) Co-op for Fall 2024. The position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey or Horsham, Pennsylvania. At JJIM, what matters most is helping people live full and healthy lives. JJIM provides medicines for an array of health concerns in several therapeutic areas, including Cardiovascular & Metabolism, Neuroscience, Oncology and Immunology.

    JJIM is committed to raising the bar on patient experience (Px), through the Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) organization, an organization that will create more personalized, seamless, and supportive experiences for patients starting treatments across the JJIM portfolio.

    Role Overview: 

    As a member of the SMOx team, you will be an integral part of a team that manages the execution and operations of Patient Support Programs. You will also support therapeutic areas across the NA portfolio to leverage and develop best practices and innovative patient support solutions. In this role, students will be involved in activities such as: 

    • Program Controls & Compliance: Support the development and deployment of a document management system. This includes managing document (SOPs) updates and approvals (legal, compliance, privacy), cataloging supplier documents (SOPs), training, and compliance monitoring.
    • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse – Support team in areas that range from claims monitoring through invoice reconciliation and contract review, including data preparation, graphical exploration of data, statistical model building and analyses, report writing, and writing of computer programs or software applications associated with the statistical analyses.
    • Operational Excellence: Use program analytics, voice of customer, performance dashboards, and monitoring to develop operational insights to improve program and supplier performance; support sharing of best practices across the therapeutic areas; effectively communicate and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure program execution.

    Qualifications

    For consideration in the SMOx Fall 2024 Co-op program, you must meet the following requirements:

    • Permanent US work authorization without the need for sponsorship now, or in the future (F1 or H1B requires sponsorship in future)
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework
    • Be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master's, PhD or MD degree
    • Masters/PhD/MD students must have earned undergraduate degree after May 2023
    • For Bachelor level candidates, by start date, must be considered a sophomore or above
    • Ability to work full time (40 hours a week) for the full term. June 2024 through December 2024

    Desired Majors:   

    • Arts & Sciences: i.e. Business Management, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Public Health
    • Engineering: i.e. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Biomedical, Information Systems: (i.e. Data Analytics, Database Management, System administration, analyst, etc.), Computer Science, Data Science

    Skills & Experience:

    Required:

    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated agility to learn and adapt, lead change, and work under pressure and maintain a high level of performance
    • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
    • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Also, able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

    Preferred:

    • Experience and working knowledge in analytical software (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of FDA or regulatory guidance.
