    Job Description:

    We are searching for the best talent for Supplier Quality Indirect Material Lead to join our Supplier Quality team located in Horsham, PA, Spring House, PA, Raritan, NJ, or Gurabo, PR. Please note onsite presence is required.

    Within the J&J IM segment the Supplier Quality group has responsibilities for supplier lifecycle management of >4500 GmP commercial and clinical suppliers including API, Direct, Indirect Materials and associated services on behalf of our internal network of J&J IM sites globally.

    Supplier Quality Indirect Material Lead

    Within the Supplier Quality group the Global Indirect Materials and Services team is tasked with lifecycle management of >3500 Indirect Supplier's on behalf of 25 J&J Innovative Medicines sites globally, including responsible for supplier selection, qualification, risk management monitoring, issue management with suppliers across the Biologics, Small Molecule, and Advanced Therapies platforms. This team leadership role is tasked with ensuring business continuity and delivering quality and compliance goals adhere to J&J policies including environmental, health, safety, quality and regulatory guidelines.

    Core responsibilities include development of Supplier Quality strategic priorities and leading execution of related deliverables in collaboration with J&J IM site personnel, regional quality leads, supplier quality team and functional business partners such as Procurement, Planning, DPDS, MSAT and local J&J IM Site Quality teams.

    Core Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

    • Lead team to maintain supplier management quality standards through oversight and remediations activities.
    • Manage, coordinates and coaches employees to deliver annual performance versus established G&O’s.
    • Partner on Supplier Quality goal development and execution in collaboration with key partners and suppliers
    • Lead partnerships with regional teams on strategy and execution related to Supplier Quality ‘Indirect Material and Services’ in collaboration with business partners and J&J IM internal sites.
    • Shape supplier management practices for platforms with evolving or emerging complexities, or with hybrid supply chains, models, such as with advanced therapies, critical technology and software solutions providers. ​
    • Support Supplier Quality project scoping and lead project management to achieve goals, objectives and Cascade.
    • Act as Supplier Quality Indirect Materials point of contact with site SPOCS related to indirect supplier management.
    • Build effective partnerships within Supplier Quality to support effective oversight related to assigned supplier accounts.
    • Deliver supplier account risk management, issue resolution and process improvement initiatives including through issue management, VMT/SQTT remediations across all indirect criticality levels and risk categories.
    • Project manage quality initiatives that have impact across J&J IM site network in collaboration with site quality teams.
    • Deliver change management and communication updates within supplier quality on core activities and projects.
    • Can leads as GQRM to deliver an aligned supplier performance view on behalf of the J&J IM sites network including remediation activities on strategically important suppliers in collaboration with business partners.
    • Collaborate and build effective networks and act as Supplier Quality point of contact for Indirect Supplier Management with E2E SC business partners. (DPDS, MSAT, PQM, Clinical, ECSQ etc)
    • Deliver direct support to J&J IM local Site during Customer, JJRC and HA inspections as needed.

    Minimum Qualification/Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required. Degrees in Science, Engineering and Technical subjects are preferred.
    • E2E supply chain management or site based QMS experience
    • Position requires ability to build and drive collaboration and teamwork across the EM sites and global EQ organization
    • Minimum of 5 years’ in supplier lifecycle management of Material and Service suppliers across operating supply chain platforms including Biologics, Small Molecule, Advanced Therapies.
    • Mature knowledge on EQ Platform and related suppliers/materials used in order to effectively manage supplier projects, accounts, issue management and audit.
    • Practical experience with GMP – and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) regulation and direct experience of regulatory authorities’ inspections.

    Competency/Skill Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of SM/LM/AT marketed products, including raw material management, DP/DS manufacturing processes, related compliance and quality system management.
    • Verbal/written communication skills that are effective across internal/external stakeholders and leadership teams.
    • Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and develop and communicate solution proposals.
    • Experienced working remotely and independently, self-motivated and comfortable operating within tight deadlines.
    • Ability to lead and influence in a high matrix environment
    • Bus Ex mindset – (Project management, change management, communications)
    • Excellent computer proficiency including on J&J QMS software applications.
    • Change management related to global, regional and cascade related projects.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    USA: $122,000-$212,750 – PR: $116,000-$200,100
