Challenge yourself, your peers and join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities: Lead 35 BriovaRx regional pharmacies, Cullinary, and Corporate pharmacy locations Direct the locations in standard and consistent processes and drive best practices across the sites Measure and ensure key metrics are met such as out of stocks, procurement practices, inventory turns, product substitution, carrier conformance and packaging requirements Partners with operations on daily procurement and inventory replenishment activities for pharmaceutical purchases to ensure service level goals are met or exceeded, while maximizing inventory turns Overall responsibility for ensuring that the pharmacies have an adequate forecast to meet the needs of members in a timely and cost effective manner. The position requires a high degree of Supply Chain and Inventory management acumen, and conscientious and ethical leadership skills to ensure the proper responsible expenditure of company funds Responsible for eliminating and preventing surplus inventory to ensure cash flow and inventory turn goals are met Responsible for leveraging system to ensure proper alignment of the procurement cycle by NDC Responsible to optimize new product launch and vendor switches working with IR to ensure they are performed in a timely manner taking into consideration service level and surplus inventory. Interact at all levels of management; both inside the company and outside with supplier organizations Work closely with Operations, IR, Accounting, Logistics, Suppliers, Supply Chain Leadership and all Infusion touch alliances Plan and develop strategy and tactics to reach objectives Responsible for supporting initiatives to plan, organize, and administer subordinate staff development. Provide guidance to employees relative to their daily decision making, interactions with suppliers, and personnel from other departments within the company Promote teamwork style relationships between Regional Supply Chain and other areas of Optum Assist team in developing and updating strategies to support business objectives Responsible for providing key metrics for leadership Participate in or lead projects as needed Provide input relative to system changes or testing Good understanding of forecasting models and purchasing capabilities in business Identifies opportunities for process improvements within Optum Supply Chain Excellent data mining and database building skills Self-starter, independently initiating and driving projects toward completion Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 5+ years’ of Procurement, Inventory management, Logistics and Warehouse Distribution experience Proficiency with MS Office applications and Oracle operating system Demonstrated communication, presentation, leadership and influencing skills Proven ability to maintain effective working relationships within a matrixed team environment Ability to travel 25% of the time People management experience Preferred Requirements: Pharmacy and or infusion experience Careers with BriovaRx Infusion Services.
