    The Patient Engagement Support Analyst manages the HealthGrid* platform for appointment confirmations & reminders, online self-scheduling, and future components like electronic check-in, on-demand messaging, and waitlist functionality. This role is responsible for engaging with the vendor to test and pilot the systems, communicating updates and changes to our sites, and working with patients to troubleshoot system issues. The Patient Engagement Support Analyst will be focused on launching online self-scheduling for the organization in 2020. *HealthGrid is a patient engagement platform that ProHealth has contracted with to support key initiatives to assist in streamlining our scheduling process and enhance patient outreach.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Act as a subject matter expert for all HealthGrid products and services
    • Extensively test and understand product functionality and ensure accuracy of systems
    • Own the process of bringing new sites onto the live online scheduling platform
    • Work closely with vendor to implement online scheduling for ProHealth patients, rolling out to sites throughout 2020
    • Interact with patients who need assistance with making appointments online
    • Engage other departments as needed to support the roll out and maintenance of HealthGrid services (IT, Marketing, etc.)
    • Create and maintain training documentation
    • Track and test all platform upgrades
    • Log tickets with vendor to set up new providers and locations
    • Communicate enhancements or changes in functionality to end users
    • Manage the creation of user accounts and handle password resets as needed
    • Troubleshoot all reported defects and see through to resolution, engaging vendor as needed
    • Track all system upgrades and changes to platform
    • Ensure that all actions comply with relevant guidelines protecting personal and health information (e.g., HIPAA requirements)
    • Follow departmental policies & procedures, workflow guidelines and escalation processes at all times
    • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • At least 3 years' experience with practice management/scheduling software
    • Experience in the healthcare industry, or medical office
    • Computer proficiency: CRM experience, strong keyboarding skills and the ability to multi-task (type and talk)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Some college
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Experience with CRM systems and/or electronic medical record systems, or equivalent
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and medical insurance requirements
