The incumbent of this position insures the quality of patient care a patient relations. The Respiratory Support Representative is responsible for scheduling patient for respiratory services, follow up on open orders, prepare paperwork for respiratory appointments and a liaison for respiratory therapist in patient information and orders. In addition, assist with tracking oxygen concentrators, and program/prepare over night oximetry. Education High School diploma or equivalent. AA or BA degree or one to two years college desired. Experience Two years medical experience required, medical terminology preferred Knowledge Background in the medical field. Some knowledge of durable medical equipment Skills Equipment General office equipment, to include fax machine, copy machine. Prior experience with computers and data entry, including Microsoft all applications.
