Apprentice Engineer-Plant Operations and Maintenance* PRIMARY PURPOSE: To perform duties necessary to maintain the physical structure in good cosmetic appearance, interior and exterior Hospital. Have a good working knowledge of all products and substances used to maintain the facility. Have a good working understanding of the materials safety data sheets and maintain a current list of products. Education: * Appropriate trade / technical/ vocational training is essential * High School education or equivalent desired Knowledge: * Journeyman carpenter, knowledge of all associative products, the ability to manifest the MSDS book, and keep accurate records as it pertains to the applications of products to the facility Skills: * Ability to work on his or her own without more than normal supervision Physical: * May be required to lift weight and carry equipment.
