    We are searching for the best talent for TDS CGT-Viral Vector Development Co-Op to be in Malvern, PA, Spring house, PA and San Diego, CA.

    • 4 vacancies are currently available.
    • The Co-op term is six months typically from January to June, 2027 (flexible).
    • Full time requirement (40 hours per week) Fully On-site.

    Purpose:

    The TDS Cell & Gene Therapy Development Viral Development organization is seeking a highly motivated Co-Op interested in viral vector process development for advanced therapy modalities. The selected candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of upstream and/or downstream viral vector manufacturing processes while gaining hands-on experience in laboratory operations, process analytics, and experimental design.

    You will be responsible:

    • Supporting viral vector process development activities in both laboratory and process analytical settings.
    • Assisting with upstream and/or downstream process development studies as required by the program.
    • Working directly with senior scientists to execute assigned experiments and maintain accurate laboratory and batch records.
    • Analyzing and interpreting experimental data using analytical and statistical tools.
    • Participating in technical discussions and Design of Experiments (DoE) activities to address process development challenges and knowledge gaps.
    • Collaborating with internal and external partners through team meetings and project discussions.
    • Maintaining laboratory notebooks and technical documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
    • Experience with data analysis and modeling software tools is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies and data analysis software is preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.
    • You must not have any Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment that could interfere with the contract dates specified for this position.
    • Cell Culture, Molecular Biology, Analytical Methods, Familiarity with viral clearance methods.
    • Purification techniques.
    • Lab scale filtration or formulation development.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    $23.50 hr to $52.50 hr

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency: for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance.
