Within the Technology Development Program (TDP), you will have the opportunity to be elbow to elbow with people who are using technology in amazing ways to help change our health care system forever. As a TDP Intern, you’ll help evaluate new analytics tools and methodologies that may be used to change the future of health care. It’s a chance to get started on some of the most important tasks our industry has ever seen.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Software Development / Software Engineering:

    • Collaborate with business users, systems analysts and or development teams in defining, analyzing and interpreting business and technical requirements
    • Develop technical expertise in any number of programming languages, including, but not limited to: JAVA, C#, Microsoft.NET, SQL, Python, Javascript

    Data Science / Data Analytics:

    • Responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality
    • Produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets and apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement

    Business Analysis / Systems Analysis:

    • Define requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering, business process, use cases and standard analysis workflow
    • As the systems and technology tools continue to evolve, you’ll need to be ready to adapt and adjust rapidly. And as part of our agile and collaborative teams, your discipline and dedication will make help to elevate your team’s achievements.

    Required Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree from an accredited college / university
    • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship (internships are not intended for graduating seniors)
    • F-1 visa holders with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require visa sponsorship, TN visa holders, current H-1B visa holders, and/or those requiring green card sponsorship will not be considered

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Degrees in Business, Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or Technology related field. Other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interest in technology.
