As a TDP Intern, you’ll help evaluate new analytics tools and methodologies that may be used to change the future of health care. Primary Responsibilities:
Software Development / Software Engineering:
- Collaborate with business users, systems analysts and or development teams in defining, analyzing and interpreting business and technical requirements
- Develop technical expertise in any number of programming languages, including, but not limited to: JAVA, C#, Microsoft.NET, SQL, Python, Javascript
Data Science / Data Analytics:
- Responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality.
- Produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets and apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement
Business Analysis / Systems Analysis:
- Define requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering, business process, use cases and standard analysis workflow
- As the systems and technology tools continue to evolve, you’ll need to be ready to adapt and adjust rapidly. And as part of our agile and collaborative teams, your discipline and dedication will make help to elevate your team’s achievements.
Project Management / Product Management:
- Collaborate with business to gather project requirements, maintain project status reports and assist in running project team meetings
- Manage project workflow and resource tracking responsibilities
IT Security:
- Actively support critical Information risk management processes and disciplines such as security governance, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Monitor events and multiple technologies and communication channels using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect IT security incidents
DevOps / Infrastructure:
- Networking: Provide network related analysis, design and integration services including coordinating between clients, vendors and other internal support services
- Database: Use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis, distinguish patterns and recognize trends
