  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Provides support in functional human resources area which may include administrative and employee relations support.

    1.Coordinates and processes all claims under the leave management platform.

    2.Coordinates and analyzes all worker’s compensation claims, including working with resolution managers and employees.

    3.Analyze all other insurance claim filings, including general liability.

    4.Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation in the HRIS system.

    5.Searches employee files and furnishes information to authorized persons.

    6.Ensures documents are maintained in a secure confidential manner.

    7.Prepares written reports and responses to internal and external parties.

    8.Researches and analyzes data.

    9.Process and respond to inquiries related to unemployment and verifications of employment.

    10.May administer the exit interview process.

    11.Conducts monthly in-house audits and assists with federal reviews.

    12.Assists employees with the E-learning system.

    13.Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Looking for candidates with ADA, FMLA, Leave and Worker's Compensation experience.

    This position has no direct supervisory duties but is expected to train or explain work procedures to others.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Requirements:

    •High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

    •Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    •Minimum of one year of related experience; specifically claims management experience.

     

    Skills and Abilities:

    •Microsoft Office products and familiarity with HRIS systems

    •Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    •Ability to exercise tact and discretion in all employee and customer interactions.

    •Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

    •Bilingual(Spanish and English)skills desired.

    Additional Information

    •Work is primarily performed in an office setting.

    •Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.
