POSITION: The RN will be responsible for providing professional nursing and

wellness services to Aspen Cottage residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· BSN degree is preferred. Must have a valid license for Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa.

· Must have at least three years of RN experience. Experience with the elderly, assisted living, or in Home Health Care is preferred.

· Must demonstrate the ability to teach, empower, lead, and positively influence others. Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills are a must.

· Must understand the health and wellness needs of individuals over age 65, and be able to implement programs and practices that assist Aspen Cottage residents residents in maintaining optimum health, while respecting the individuals right to make decisions regarding their health and well being.

· Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Must demonstrate the ability to implement programs that emphasize a holistic approach to health care.

· Must be able and willing to work cooperatively with all members of the Aspen Cottage Service Team to provide excellent customer satisfaction.

· Regular attendance is required.

· Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
