    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Assistant Manager, Marketing supports the entire SRAlab Marketing team and collaborates with leadership to assist other internal departments. This individual will have a desire to learn and eagerly contribute to all facets of our marketing initiatives – including but not limited to: Advertising/Media planning and execution, service line collateral, external and internal events, budget input and tracking. They must be highly collaborative, accountable for their work and exhibit excellent organizational skills to intake and manage timetables for a myriad of projects and initiatives.

    The Assistant Manager, Marketing consistently demonstrates support of the SRAlab statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and exhibiting respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact or in the interest of the Institute.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, MARKETING WILL:

    1. Assist the Associate Director, Marketing on assign projects, determine work prioritization and manage communication and expectations with constituents
    2. Serve as the primary contact for new project requests: gathering pertinent content regarding objectives, target, budget, timing, etc.
    3. Collaborate with Executive Director to develop a process, track and monitor all department invoices and billing
    4. Provide ongoing marketing support to internal departments including but not limited to HR, nursing, patient safety council and various research initiatives and grants
    5. Assist team with ongoing marketing and creative support for LiFT initiatives
    6. Assist the Associate Director, Digital to maintain historical Archive and facilitate content and image updates within Intelligence Back platform for internal team and other stakeholders
    7. Support team during therapy and headshot photo-shoots: confirming times/locations, obtaining photo consents, assisting with day of logistics
    8. Assist the Associate Director, Marketing to execute a process and identify gaps to fulfill collateral requests from Referral Development, Advancement, Academy, Community Services, HR and Admitting
    9. Primary lead for all premium sourcing to support Admission liaisons, HR, nursing and other annual departmental requests
    10. Provide additional support to marketing team including meeting coordination, procurement of supplies, and timecard/check/expense report processing
    11. Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

    1. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

    1. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
    2. Two (2) to four (4) years of marketing experience
    3. Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
    4. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    5. Excellent project management and prioritization skills
    6. Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    7. Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients to provide support and resolve issues
    8. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and company objectives
    9. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
