    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Associate Manager, Marketing requires a broad range of skills and experience in order to lead and support key marketing objectives and goals. This individual will work directly with the core marketing team and interface directly with a number of other hospital departments to lead internal and external initiatives. They will lead or provide support to Advertising/Media planning and execution, service line collateral, external and internal events, premiums and budget input and tracking.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    THE ASSOCIATE MANAGER, MARKETING WILL:

    1. Assist the Associate Director, Marketing to develop new advertising assets with Agency – including but not limited to radio and TV spots, digital & social ads, OOH
    2. Lead all aspects of SRAlab participation at Association Events – from booth contracts, to design and production, shipping, staffing and day-of execution
    3. Coordinate and lead annual event training sessions for research, clinical and other professional conference attendees
    4. Lead creative design, event coordination and logistics in partnership with HR for Magnuson and other key internal events
    5. Assist the Executive Director, Marketing and PR, to develop and manage a process to solicit additional patient stories, maintain patient story data and bi-annual communications to identity story updates and news
    6. Collaborate with HR Director on uniform updates, new selections and staff communications regarding updates/changes/pricing or stipends
    7. Create and/or update all hospital collateral including: Welcome/InPatient/DayRehab/OutPatient, all key service lines, Global Patient Services (GPS), Workers Comp, Pain Center, etc. based on direction from leadership, Advancement (naming recognition) & medical directors
    8. Lead and provide design support for internal & external events including: Science Symposium, AIM, Inside Look, Discovery Moments and other Advancement/programmatic/research
    9. Maintain and update brand standards including Alliances, Advantage programs and research support templates (powerpoint/research posters/etc.)
    10. Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab

     

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

    1. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

    1. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
    2. Four (4) to seven (7) years of marketing experience
    3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    4. Excellent project management and prioritization skills
    5. Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
    6. Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    7. Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients to provide support and resolve issues
    8. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and company objectives
    9. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.

    • Must be certified in-house to safely operate powered industrial equipment, if applicable.

    • Capacity to operate basic packaging machines.

    • Ability to work closely with other employees.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.  The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee may be exposed to heights up to 30 feet. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.

    TRAINING

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Basic computer aptitude

    Prior packaging or distribution experience preferred
