    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Project Manager – Research will maintain the operation of the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research (CROR) including the supervision of support staff and technical staff.  The Project Manager assists in the planning and management of research projects and coordinates the timing of activities necessary to bring overall projects to completion. Assists with the development of program evaluation objectives, determines the appropriate program evaluation procedures to be utilized, oversees individual project progress, produces reports detailing results, and supervises data collectors.  Is responsible for the development, management and supports the integrity of all project data.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    THE PROJECT MANAGER, RESEARCH:

    1. Assists in the planning and managing project budgets for the purpose of executing research activities and subcontracts.
    2. Executes research projects from funding to the final study report and publications. Coordinates dissemination of research project information and products developed by the CROR.
    3. Develops and applies regulatory compliance and best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects. 
    4. Coordinates the efforts of support, technical, data collection, and professional staff in completing projects.
    5. Selects, supervises, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
    6. Ensures coordination of the activities of internal and external collaborators including, but not limited to: IRB approval and compliance requirements, project monitoring, data management, statistics, writing, and safety to ensure proper conduct and timely completion of all projects. 
    7. May be responsible for coordinating efforts for the project both within the AbilityLab and through a variety of collaborators, vendors and subcontractors.
    8. Interacts with finance, research and development, marketing, regulatory and other relevant departments as appropriate. 
    9. Performs and interprets complex statistical analysis of resulting data in order to solve technical problems, as needed.
    10. Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Reviews a significant volume of literature including rehabilitation outcome literature, medical literature, and various research publications in order to increase the understanding of the research objectives and to increase the knowledge of research methodologies.

     

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

    1. Reports directly to Director or Assistant Director of the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research.
    2. Responsible for management of CROR Support team including Research Project Coordinators and Research Assistants.

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

    1. Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a behavioral or social science equivalent to that which is acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.
    2. Minimum 4 years of Research experience with knowledge of research processes.
    3. Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating projects, preferably in research, using financial and budget information to run projects,.
    4. Experience with managing staff and team leadership.
    5. Knowledge of, and minimum 2 years of experience with, mail and telephone survey research methodology and management. Includes sampling techniques, survey design and development, and follow-up procedures.
    6. Knowledge of focus group methodology and experience conducting focus groups and analyzing results.
    7. A good working knowledge of program evaluation methodology and statistical analysis and procedures is required. Desirable statistical skills should include knowledge of multivariate analysis techniques such as multiple analysis of variance, multiple regression, logistic regression and factor analysis.
    8. Ability to use Windows-based office and data analysis software and the ability to solve PC hardware and software problems.
    9. Experience in database design and programming.
    10. A relatively high level of analytical ability is needed in order to solve complex technical problems.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.

  • Qualifications

    4、曾从事工艺设计工作。

    5、精通冲压、制消、弯管、焊接、FMEA、SPC

    6、熟悉工装制造。

    7、熟练使用CAD、CATIA软件。

    8、善于沟通,语言表达清楚。

        具备英语读、写能力;口语能做一般交流

        熟悉TS16949等质量管理体系。

        具有较强的组织协调能力;

        掌握项目管理知识。
