    CLINICAL GAIT PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    PART-TIME

     

    Our Clinical Gait Therapists are the experts in their field. They enrich our patients’ care with their skilled and specialized services. The Gait Therapists use their expert knowledge in the assessment of gait impairments and the implementation of high intensity gait training for the neurologic inpatient patients. They have expertise is various gait treatment modalities and tools, such as BWSTT, overhead gait track, Alter G, Lokomat, etc.

     

    The primary patient diagnoses include stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, sever multi traumas, brain tumors and cancers. Also see other diagnoses including MS, Parkinson’s, and Guillan Barre, cardiac, transplants, general medicine diagnoses as well as some orthopedic injuries

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Completion of a Master’s or Doctorate degree program from an accredited college or university.
    • Current Illinois License to practice as a physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech language pathologist
    • Approximately 2 years of experience preferred but not required.
    • Current CPR certification required.

  • Qualifications
    • Deliver materials on a timely basis to support production needs.
    • 100% Bin to Bin and production reporting accuracy.
    • 100% Adherence to fixed storage locations by use of E-Kanban system.
    • Housekeeping in area of responsibility as well as container and material storage areas
    • Ensure proper materials and containers are prepared for next shift.
    • Adhere to the fixed storage location for fork truck, tuggers, radios and scanners at the end of shift.
    • Proactively approach safety in all aspects of material-handling equipment operation, material storage, and containerization.
    • Adhere to all policies with regard to propane handling and forklift safety/maintenance checks, including completion of a daily equipment check sheet.
    • Participate in annual fiscal inventory and perpetual audits, as assigned. 
    • Immediately report safety concerns and damage to company assets to your supervisor.
    • Other duties as assigned
