Our CDU will provide an alternative to discharge or a hospital inpatient admission for patients who may benefit from an extended observation period, generally less than 24 hours. HOURS: PRN 7a-7p Days, weekends and some holidays required EDUCATION:: BSN preferred. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire; Current AHA BLS and ACLS training. AHA NIH within 30 days of hire. CPI within 90 days of hire.
