We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Clinical Applications Support Specialist to join our team! This role will act as a subject matter expert for the support and implementation of Transforming Agersquo;s clinical systems. This role requires expertise in understanding the application functionality, reporting capability, and integrations associated with clinical applications. This position may be located in either the Seattle, Washington or Minneapolis, Minnesota metropolitan areas. Positions Details Some of the essential responsibilities of this role include: * Monitoring achievement of goals and objectives for the community consistent with PCC implementation in the company * Training and monitoring the implementation of current policies and procedures related to PCC * Reviewing new regulatory directives and implementing changes as PCC introduces upgrades and system enhancements * Participating and supporting the communities to ensure adequate training and best practices are utilized * Staying privy to PCC program changes and educating community team members as needed * Managing external users such as medical professionals and therapists to ensure they have the correct access to business units and residents records * Participating in the design and development of the overall onboarding and training program for clinical systems * Performing practice-level maintenance/research and system testing/ability to generate reports and document all changes and statuses in a complete and thorough manner * Participating in implementation and transitioning to new software modules and upgrades as needed * Assisting with workflow redesign and processes as necessary * Exhibiting the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence through servant leadership * Promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility * Perform other duties as necessary and/or assigned Our ideal candidate will possess the following: * Bachelorrsquo;s degree in nursing, healthcare technology, information technology or similar preferred; Associates degree and experience, or equivalent professional experience required * Five(5) or more years of progressive experience in a Post-Acute Skilled Nursing and/or Healthcare environment * Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with an electronic health record platform (Point Click Care highly preferred) * A strong understanding of Long Term Care operations, including clinical/medical record documentation * Experience with client data and error recovery methods * Expert-level computer competency, to include proficiency in MS Office, Clinical Software and other computer applications * The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization * The ability to use discretion in handing confidential information * Strong interpersonal skills including active listening, ability to gain support through effective relationships and treating others with dignity and respect at all times * Demonstrated effective time management skills * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment * Ability to disseminate conceptual and complex ideas to a wide variety of audiences using appropriate media and methods to promote understanding * A valid driverrsquo;s license and reliable transportation; regional travel for Transforming Age will be required on occasion Transforming Ageis a top 35 senior housing not-for-profit organization committed to improving the lives of older adults throughhousing, consumer services, technology, philanthropy and business services.
