The Early Childhood Teacher(s) provides responsive educational opportunities in a nurturing, supportive environment that promotes success for our youngest of learners, ACC students, employees and the communities we serve, while working cooperatively with administration, colleagues and families. The Early Childhood teacher will collaborate with the Director of the Child Development Center and the Associate Dean of Education in the management of the classroom delivering engaging educational experiences. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the classroom. In addition, the Early Childhood Teacher will create and maintain genuine relationships with children and families delivering best practices for each unique child. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting assessments, utilizing assessment data, and classroom & individual observations to create informed, meaningful weekly lesson plans. The Child Development Center follows State of Colorado licensing requirements and NAEYC accreditation standards while implementing a developmentally appropriate curricular approach. This position reports to the Director of the ACC Child Development Center. The position will typically work a 40 hour per week schedule, Monday through Friday.

Salary range for this position is $38,950 - $43,624, commensurate with education and experience. AP 3-45 provides information regarding salary placement and adjustments. This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt position. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.
