The Advanced Practice Nurse is a registered nurse who provides a primary level of care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team provides care to a specific patient population. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical/psychosocial assessment, and management of health and illness in the care of individuals.
