    Position Summary

    Rogers is looking for a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Rogers various research projects. The Clinical Research Assistant will be responsible for collection and organization of data, collecting salvia samples, scheduling patients, and documentation activities in clinical research studies. A successful candidate in this role is very detailed, highly collaborative, and passionate about research.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Creates, collects, disseminates, maintains appropriate files of study data, and assists with review and completion of study manuals and standard of work
    • Coordinates study participant appointments, activities, or visits
    • Organizes participant charts and files and distributes appropriately
    • Generates letters and other written communication for study participants
    • Compiles study participant packets and recruitment materials
    • Under the direction of the study coordinator or principal investigator, assists in enrolling patients in research studies
    • Contacts patients if/when required to collect additional information
    • Provides technical support for devices, systems, tools or instruments used for research purposes
    • Tracks and manages participant stipends
    • Develops electronic workflows to support study management
    • Monitors study participant correspondence to ensure timely response
    • Assists in preparation of study materials for IRB review
    • Maintains awareness and compliance of research regulatory issues

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED is required
    • Associates degree in a Phlebotomy, Medical, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, or health related field is preferred
    • At least one year of work experience in a medical, technical, scientific or health related field is preferred
    • Completion of applicable research training certification through CITI or comparable program. May be completed within first 30 days of employment.
    • Exceptional written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and procedure
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
    • Prior behavioral health clinical experience strongly preferred
    • Experience using research data base (REDCAP) and/ or clinical trial management system experience is preferred
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
