    The FINANCIAL ANALYST is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Decision Support Systems to include: ensuring the integrity of the data infrastructure; analysis of both internal and external data in support of day to day operations; development of various operational ad-hoc and recurring reports by synthesizing data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful decision making tools, and creation of reports for use by management. The Financial Analyst will support both hospital and physician foundation analytics.  As a key member of the Decision Support team, the Financial Analyst collaboratively works across the organization supporting daily operational reporting and analysis of key performance metrics in support of the Organization’s initiatives and goals. The Financial Analyst must have the ability to manage multiple projects, as well as meet time constraints and expectations.

    Required Skills

    • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
    • Ability to work both independently and within teams
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and database structures
    • Experience with a variety of software development methodologies and financial, data modeling
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong technical and attention to detail skills. 
    • Ability to review existing processes and make recommendations for performance improvement.

      

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Healthcare Administration, Finance /Accounting or Information Systems, though all majors will be considered. 
    • Accounting and/or Finance coursework and prior job / internship in an analytic field. 
    • Strong undergraduate GPA.
