THIS IS A FULL TIME HOURS POSITION THAT WILL RUN MAY 22ND - SEPTEMBER 6TH. 

SUMMARY: Splash on in to Silver Dollar City’s White Water located in Branson, MO and serve our Premium Cabana guests. We are looking for applicants with previous server experience, excellent guest service, and a friendly attitude. In order to perform this position successfully you will need to be able to work well with others and maneuver in small spaces while carrying trays of food for our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacts with guests in a manner which demonstrates a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to make their experience one worth repeating
• Answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service.  Listens to and responds appropriately to any guest request
• Serves salads, main course and desserts, serves & refills drinks, and performs other services as determined by need
• Carries a serving tray, weighing up to 30 pounds above shoulder level, or a hot carry bag, weighing up to 30 lbs on your shoulder
• Clears and resets cabanas at conclusion of each day
• Participates in rotation of serving areas as assigned by Leadership; must be flexible to work in any area
• The park operating hours vary, but servers are expected to remain until their last guests leave for the day
• Performs in a safety critical evacuation role in the case of an emergency; responsible for directing guests and ensuring they follow all safety precautions and instructions
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards

Required Skills Required Experience

Must be at least 16 years of age

Three to six months related experience and/or training. 

Minimum Education:

1. 4-year degree or equivalent technical degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information technology or related field.
2.  Applicable work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to record and manage project time.

Ability to rapidly develop and deliver quality presentations of a complex nature to a non-technical audience is critical.

Advanced cloud security, network security, server security required, Advanced knowledge of datacenter technologies (SD-Wan, load balancing, next gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and cloud (AWS, Azure, SaaS, etc.)

Experience working within a security framework (NIST).

Candidate should have exceptional problem solving / analytical ability.

Ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Off-hours and incident support work may be required as needed. Must be reachable by mobile device.

Demonstrate ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects, ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience, excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
