The Gate Guard provides an additional level of security and load check at location.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Verify load contents.
2. Match items on invoice against product on customer vehicle.
3. Match items on invoice against product on company vehicle.
4. Assertively deal with load discrepancies by informing location management as required by company policy.
5. Provide prompt and attentive service to all loads exiting facility.
6. Wear approved uniform identifying security position.
7. Complete necessary paperwork identifying load discrepancies and errors each day.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

1. Minimum education required:  High school diploma or G.E.D.
2. Special skills required: Training as specified by company.
3. Other: Work in extreme weather conditions as required, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

Required Experience

1. Minimum experience required: 1 year of demonstrated security or related field.
