  • Responsibilities

    MISSION / SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Mill Finance Director, the position supports the Mill Division Finance function to provide accurate and timely financial reporting and key decision support to the SBS business.

     

    JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

    • Coordinate the consolidation of SBS mill financial data into total SBS division results for actuals, outlook, and budgets
    • Update monthly variance analysis versus plan and prior year for the consolidated SBS business
    • Support the SBS mill finance teams in various ways – reporting package requirements and issues, standard costing runs, PPV analysis, cost transfer and freight accounting, SAP questions/issues
    • Responsible for accounting and reporting for SBS division & distribution centers
    • Support the SBS division balance sheet account reconciliations
    • SBS mill contact with Supply Chain for commodity pricing updates and PPV analytics
    • Perform ad-hoc analytics for Mill cost, trend reporting & benchmark support
    • Maintain adequate controls and policy compliance for SBS Division accounting and financial reporting processes

     

    BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 or more years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

     

    EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • MBA or CPA a plus

     

    SPECIFIC SKILLS:

    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Dynamic, flexible team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
    • Project management skills
    • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
    • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook
    • SAP experience preferred
    • Initiative / Self-Motivated

      • Ride Operators at rides designated as High Thrill Attractions (as defined by IAAPA standards).
        • Any activity with use of a motor vehicle to include trams and shuttles
        • Drive vehicles operated exclusively on rails.
        • Work on or ascend lift hills whether in training, normal operations, or evacuations.
