    Licensed Professional Nurse- Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Nursing BH, or designee, provide nursing care in a Behavioral Health setting. Responsibilities include collection of data, administration of medications and treatments, and documentation of care provided. Responsible for providing guidance to Mental Health Technicians in service to the BH patients. Perform duties within the scope of the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice

    Medical Assistant- Provides care for patients under the direction of the physician in the ambulatory clinic and/or procedural setting.  As a part of the healthcare team, they support administrative and clinical functions within their work setting.  In collaboration with patients and the healthcare team collects and records important health information data as part of the admission and discharge process.  Incorporates patient education into the plan of care. Completes and/or assists with procedures. 

    Required Skills

     LPN-Minimum Requirements

    1.  Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
    2.  Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri.
    3.  Experience working in a BH facility or an equivalent environment where clinical care is provided to patients
    4.  Certified BCLS.

    MA-Minimum Requirements

    1. High school diploma or equivalent
    2. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
    3. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-ceritification by the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) –certification by American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) –certification by National Association for Health Professionals. [Beginning 1/1/2013, all new hires are required to possess one of the above certifications and maintain for continued employment.]
    4. Current BCLS certification upon hire & maintained for continued employment
    5. Ability to perform POCT, immunizations, and injections
    6. Ability to work independently, prioritize and problem solve.
    7. Excellent organization skills.
    8. Considerable ability to provide superior customer service skills
    9. Proficient in Microsoft applications and basic computer skills
