    The Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN provides services in behavioral health inpatient, emergency and clinic settings.  Provides care patients with acute, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses.  Performs an assessment based on the patient’s diagnosis, reason for entry into the system, and care needs. Utilizes the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care. Other duties include interdisciplinary team involvement, committees, program evaluations, research, education, and the supervision of students.  Performs duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an ADN with 1 year of RN experience
    • Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
    • Current BCLS
    • RN Specialty Certification preferred
    • Experience in Behavioral Health preferred
