This position will be part of the technical management team and will work closely with the Director Infrastructure and Operations to determine future needs, and plan projects that help to achieve the goals of BMC. The position will have management responsibilities in supporting the Infrastructure team with the On-Premise and Cloud infrastructure. Will assist in planning and setting annual budgets based on defined projects. The Enterprise IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Works cooperatively with other IT stakeholders to develop strategic and tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of technical services.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Works to maintain reliability and uptime with current infrastructure systems
- Lead and drive efforts with Disaster Recover planning and testing for infrastructure team
- Work with team to design and maintain Active Directory
- Design and plan for system integrations into Cloud architecture
- Works with other teams within IT to provide support and guidance as it relates to underlying network, server and cloud infrastructure
- Supports the development, documentation, and evolution of IT policies, procedures, and tools to align with business and IT strategies.
- Creates, reviews, and updates required documentation for changes and projects as assigned in accordance with BMC project methodology.
- Regularly communicates deliverables status, concerns, and issues to direct supervisor and Project Managers.
- Maintain Roles & Responsibilities for staff
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Skills

- Participated in large transformational Infrastructure projects in a lead or project management role. (examples: Data Center Move, Cloud Migration, Data Center Refresh)
Required Experience
- 4-year degree or equivalent technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information technology or related field. Applicable work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Ten years of responsible professional experience in supporting/managing complex networked systems and an enterprise IT Support. Experience with windows desktop and server operatingsystems with support/troubleshooting enterprise applications.
- Participated in large transformational Infrastructure projects in a lead or project management role. (examples: Data Center Move, Cloud Migration, Data Center Refresh)
- Familiarity with NIST Cyber Security Framework and PCI DSS standards.
- Demonstrated experience with VMWare virtualization.
- Demonstrated experience with AD, Windows Server 2016 & 2019, Office365.
