Job Description

A postdoctoral position is open in Dr. Basak Icli’s laboratory at MCRI, Tufts Medical Center by Nov 1, 2020. Our laboratory is employing a combination of biochemical and genomic approaches to study non-coding RNAs, and to elucidate their function in endothelial cell biology and obesity. Several novel non-coding RNAs have been identified the endothelium of obese mice. We will characterize these through a combination of approaches including next generation sequencing, functional genomics (CRISPR/Cas9), cell lines, patient samples, ex-vivo organoid models and in-vivo studies.

Qualifications

The Ph.D. and/or M.D. candidate must have a strong background molecular and cellular biology, genomics and/or genetics is required. 

Experience in vivo mouse studies is an advantage.

This position is open until a suitable candidate is identified.
