Qualifications
JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Experience in web-based Electronic Data Capture (EDC) such as REDCap, and other data management tools.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, application of statistical methods for analysis of biomedical data.
- Programming capabilities in SAS and R are required; experience with Python or Stata is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in biostatistics, data science, or public health, or closely related field is required. Applicants without training in biostatistics will not be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year of experience, preferably in a medical research environment, demonstrating the applicant’s ability to develop EDC, perform data management and data analysis.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above, may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
