Job Description

• Provide in person and telephone interpreting for families with limited or no English language.
• Facilitate communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff.
• Schedule visits for early intervention staff
• Provide interpreting services for early intervention visits including intake, evaluation and home visits

Qualifications

• Verbal fluency in both English and language of specific population served.
• Interpreting experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in person interpreting services
• Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent/caregiver
