Entry-level position responsible for making various types of specialty millwork and building materials components. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Creates custom architectural millwork from shop drawings to finished product
2. Maintains an independent workstation , responsible for keeping area neat, organized, and a safe environment
3. Must be able to work with others, occasionally multiple craftsman must work on a joint project to hit scheduled delivery date
4. Has worked in a custom cabinet shop environment
5. Changes dull saw blades, sanding belts, jointer blades, planer blades and shaper bits, as needed.

Required Skills

1. Minimum Education--High school education or GED
2. Must be able to read architectural and shop drawings
3. Able to read tape measure, architectural scale and metric scale
4. Able to set up and run planer, jointer, table saw, bandsaw, shaper, and other equipment
5. Able to build assortment of jigs and fixtures in the use of the above equipment
6. Strong mathematical and geometry skills required
7. Millwork fabrication from rough mill lumber and sheet goods for the entire process from start to finish
8. Must be able to 50lbs frequently and occasional 100lbs

Required Experience

1. Minimum Experience-- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing.  Prior experience in millwork helpful.
