    We’re a nonprofit, regional healthcare network with two hospitals, numerous outpatient medical offices, a multispecialty medical (physician) group, home healthcare services and hospice care, as well as heart, cancer and emergency services.     From our extensive facilities in Whittier, California and Downey, California, PIH Health serves more than two million residents in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

    This individual has 24 hours responsibility and accountability for operations within the assigned nursing unit.  Works with Chief Nursing Officer, Administrator or Administrative Director and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance of the unit and to improve patient, physician and employee satisfaction.  Leads by example. Works with the team to reduce infrastructure and to promote high value performance.  This is a management position.

    Required Experience

    • Current California RN license
    • Bachelor’s degree required or in process, applicable degree may be required in some areas due to licensure requirements
    • Minimum two years supervisory/management experience preferred
    • Current CPR card
