Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse, provide nursing care in an acute care, long term care, home health, and ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities include collection of data, administration of medications and treatments, and documentation of care provided. Perform duties within the scope of the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act.

Required Skills

1. Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program. New graduates must take the state board exam within 90 days of graduation date from nursing program.
2. Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri
3. Certified BCLS.

Preferred Qualifications

1. State approved certification in IV Therapy.
