1. Organizes and secures load.
2. Obtains approval on all loads from supervisor for proper count and conditions of load.
3. Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
4. Assists forklift operators when loading.
5. Accounts for all company funds, such as C.O.D.’s.
6. Delivers and unloads materials to customer‘s satisfaction.
7. Follows guidelines from supervisor.
8. Completes daily equipment inspection.
9. Records all merchandise that is returned by truck.

Required Skills

1. Minimum education required: High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
2. Minimum experience required: 6 months experience driving trucks, prefer lumber dumping experience.
3. Special skills required: Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, and write instructions and complete forms.
4. Communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills. Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.

Other: Clean driving record and current operator’s license.
