    JOB SUMMARY: 

    Creating an excellent impression of The Dollywood Company throughout stay at  the

     

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Escort guests to their Retreat/Canopy and is able to relay park information as well as demonstrate the use of the satellite TV and phone system.
    • Perform defined accounting procedures for sales including management of cash funds, deposits, and credit card balancing to ensure all revenue is collected and balanced daily.
    • Responsible for taking orders, preparing, serving, serving high quality food, measuring ingredients, answering guest questions about menu items and pricing.
    • Responsible for stocking and organizing the Booth, Retreats, and Canopies.
    • Assist with the daily/weekly maintenance and cleaning of the Retreats and Canopies.
    • Effectively use empowerment to ensure Dollywood’s Splash Country’s Guest Satisfaction Guarantee is implemented.
    • Keep all areas are well organized and in compliance with Health Department regulations.
    • Comply with safety and security directives, policies, and procedures.
    • Adhere to all Health Department regulation referring to food handling, food storing, chemical storage, etc.
    • Learn and effectively use equipment such as: cash registers, guest ordering systems, fryers, steam kettles, drink machines, warmers, convection oven, popcorn machines, ice cream machines, knives, rolling carts, carrying trays, dishwashers, dollies, brooms, mops, golf carts, etc.
    • Functions also include, but are not limited to, serving food that complies with expected Dollywood’s Splash Country quality, specifications, quantity, presentation and state health code requirements.
    • Prepared to do other duties, such as maintaining cleanliness of any surfaces used for eating on or serving food from, maintaining proper sanitation, cleanliness of general area, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.
    • Able to assist the Front Gate team with ticket sales, rain checks, and general guest service issues.
    • Able to follow all procedures/standards affecting the financial standing such as portion control, suggestive selling, clocking in/out properly, accurately entering guest’s information into Omni system, accurately opening/closing registers, and completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Able to provide continuous service with a high attention to detail.
    • Able to confidently answer guest questions concerning park layout, menu offerings, and merchandise offerings.

    • Give two weeks’ notice for requested days off and have all necessary schedule changes approved by my Team Lead and Sr. Team Lead.
    • Able to tolerate a fast-paced, hectic environment.
    • Ability to tolerate stress due to job responsibilities and serious consequences of making an error.
    • Able to operate a fire extinguisher.
    • Able to tolerate detergents and chemicals.
    • Able to be flexible to handle frequent changes in priorities.
    • Able to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on time
    • Able to report to work without being under the influence of or smelling of alcohol.
    • Able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must be willing to perform other work functions as assigned.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be at least 16 years of age.
    • Ability to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English.
    • Must be able to operate multiple computer soft wear systems.
    • Must be able to learn computer, computer scanning equipment, and printer equipment.
    • Excellent verbal communicator – accurate, consistent and detailed.
    • Basic math skills necessary to count out change to guests as applicable.
