    MISSION/SUMMARY

    The Quality System Leader II will lead the salaried and hourly personnel in the Quality Department

    • Lead safety performance for department

    • Execute people systems for 3 salaried employees and 32 hourly employees

    • Ensure effective training systems are in place and executed

    • Manage Daily Quality Control and Customer Quality Assurance Activities

    • Interface with CTS & Sales to Manage Complaint Costs and Liabilities.

    • Monitor claims and minimize cost impact

    • Monitor claim trends and coordinate corrective actions with Paper Mill

    • Represent the Mill to Customers

    • Host/coordinate customer visits

    • Support sales in achieving customer satisfaction via field visits

    • Respond to customer’s questions, questionnaires, and audits

    • Communicate directly with sales and service personnel, internal and external customers in regards to quality.

    • Coordinate with Paper Mill on Quality Issues/Customer Needs

    • Research quality related complaints, recommend resolution of these issues. Initiate and track to completion CAR/CAPs stemming from quality complaints.

    • Communicate field issues to paper mill and achieve mutually agreeable plan to address them

    • Assist paper mill in analyzing quality issues

    • Responsible directly or indirectly for disposition of product based on quality assessment.

    • Support execution and evaluation of mill trials

    • Manage Effective Quality Related Specifications, Procedures,& Other Documentation

    • Ensures ISO process is effectively executed.

    • Maintain effective specifications and SECs

    • Ensure CoAs are issued

    • Complete Tetra Pak quarterly reports
