Performs cash posting of patient and third party payments to accounts receivable or general ledger on computer system. Posting may be manual of electronic, pulling the data file from one of several sources. Responsible for always balancing cash posting batch to the corresponding deposit. If assigned to hospital cashier window duties receives monies and writes receipts, receives and balances point of service collections cash bags from multiple clinical areas, posts payments to accounts and prepares a deposit.
