     THIS IS A FULL TIME HOURS POSITION. IT WILL START ON JANUARY 1ST AND CONTINUE THROUGH NOVEMBER 5TH EACH YEAR. 

    SUMMARY: Our breathtaking landscaping is a major component of creating an incredible experience and atmosphere for our guests. As a LANDSCAPING TEAM MEMBER, you’re responsible for keeping Silver Dollar City beautiful. Your workdays will likely start before the park opens to the public, and you can expect a physically demanding shift. You’ll be planting trees, watering flowers, trimming hedges, pulling weeds and spraying pesticides – to protect all that beautiful scenery from any unwanted bugs and insects. You’ll need to safely operate a variety of equipment and tools you maintain our grounds, as well as create new landscapes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, though other duties may be assigned:

    • Plant trees, shrubs and flowers
    • Mix and use fertilizer and soil additives
    • Mix and use appropriate pesticides
    • Water lawns, trees, and plants
    • Make up flower containers and baskets
    • Acknowledge insects and disease problems
    • Work with rocks, gravel, and brush
    • Use hand tools
    • Use landscape equipment properly
    • Mix, use, and spread soil, mulch, compost, and cement
    • Seed and straw new lawns
    • Prune
    • Propagate
    • Water and maintain greenhouses

    Required Skills

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    Required Experience

    Must have current valid Driver’s License. 

    When operating specific equipment, CDL will be required.
