    We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to perform the following duties.

     

    • Supports the VP FP&A in realizing the vision to digitize and automate financial planning & analysis process in support of driving performance improvement, predictability, and accountability across the businesses (16+ operating companies “OpCo”) in the US
    • Supports the financial analysis process and provides relevant financial information at/for all levels of the organization, variance analyses, KPIs; analytics of OpCo and overall US performance including sales and profitability, Opex, Cash & Working capital Management (Inventory, AR, AP, DIO, DSO, DPO, etc.), Capex
    • Supports the FP&A function (1) in the forecast and budget process; (2) other transformational and strategic projects including M&A transactions as well as (3) ad-hoc analyses.
    • Capitalizes on data analytics skills, including dashboard set-up, analysis and insight generation.
    • This role provides an opportunity to get exposure to executive levels within the OpCos and within Sonepar USA.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Accomplished Transaction Services Senior Associate with Big 4 or Regional Accounting firm; 2-5 years of combined audit, transaction services, FP&A or a driven Financial Analyst in a Finance role with professional managerial experiences in large US organizations and liaising with finance stakeholders and executives.
    • Excellent quantitative, financial, and analytical skills as well as the ability to see the complete picture.
    • Strong financial analysis skills related to financial performance and cash & working capital management; keen understanding of business performance drivers; ability to develop initial insights; understanding of financial planning and analysis.
    • Ability to develop concise, easy to understand analysis to support business decisions.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, rigor, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
    • A team player collaborating within FP&A and with other functions, including but not limited to OpCo Finance Leaders, Accounting, Shared Services Finance, IT, and other Functions.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple and changing priorities, with ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness, creativity, “out of the box” thinking and proactively propose solutions resolve problems while consistently meeting deadlines.
    • Technology savvy with experience of: Excel (power user), Power BI, Tableau, or any other business analytics tools, and Alteryx a must; corporate performance management tools / Budget Forecast tools / HFM / OneStream are a plus.
    • Working knowledge of distribution, wholesale, logistic a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
    • MBA, a plus
    • CPA license, a plus.

    Bachelor’s degree and 5 years or more experience in a folding carton manufacturing environment preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required.

    General knowledge of converting technologies is required.
