In partnership with the Infectious Disease Department, the Infusion Services Nurse Practitioner will work 100% in our out-patient Infusion Center. In this role, our APRN will work under the supervision of our Medical Director of Infusion Services. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing & amending orders from referring providers, assessing patients within the infusion center & implementing discharge plans, responding to any clinical emergencies throughout patient's infusions, and completing documentation & billing in a timely manner.
Work Schedule: Fulltime; Monday through Friday 8a-4p; no weekends/holidays/on call required
Required Skills
CT APRN license prior to start date required
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
Certification in Specialty highly preferred
Experience with IV and/or PICC insertion preferred
