    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Entertainment Concert and Event Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the Concert Venue and Live Music/Event Venues, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of their locations area/locations in both guest view and back areas during their assigned shift(s). The Entertainment Concert and Event Coordinator is responsible for providing and ensuring excellent Guest Service. The Entertainment Concert and Event Coordinator directly works with concert vendors, contractors, and production/tour companies to ensure concerts and event operations operate in a smooth a safe fashion.  Work outdoors in all weather conditions and often perform physically demanding tasks. Professionalism and a positive attitude must be displayed at all times. 

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Organize, facilitate, and coordinate all concert acts, live music bookings, and additional Entertainment events
    • Work directly with production company, local vendors, departments/divisions internally, and artist tour/production managers to ensure smooth event
    • Ensure operation meets the company standards for quality, service, safety, and financial efficiency
    • Ensure compliance with all park and department operational and safety policies and procedures
    • Upkeep and ensure concert stage venue, live music stage venue, and back of house areas, including technical components, assets, and general housekeeping
    • Work cross-functionally with other divisions/departments as needed
    • Work with Entertainment Team Lead and Entertainment Operations Manager cross-functionally
    • Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
    • Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
    • Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
    • Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
    • “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids and blood borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions.

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE: Event planning and execution experience preferred

    EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED preferred

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Competency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
    • Must be able to wear appropriate job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
