    NorthEast Electrical is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team!

     

    JOB SUMMARY:

    As a Business Development specialist, you are responsible to drive growth and increase our market share with an unassigned and house account portfolio. Assist branch staff at customers needing assistance from NorthEast not typically available through their normal inside sales/counter assignments. Promote the overall market awareness of NorthEast and our capabilities including Logistics, Service platform, Digital engagement, and Project Management.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop a disciplined approach to target, qualify and contact key decision makers at prospect accounts. Maintain and update customer contact information to assist in outreach. Meet or exceed assigned customer interaction rate
    • Engage with Customers using an Omni Channel approach, communicating with them in the manner they use and are comfortable with
    • Understand and Advocate for your assigned customers in internal strategy discussions, and assist in service recovery and dispute resolution
    • Communicate your activities and keep appropriate sales associates and managers aware of new prospects and activities. Coordinate engagement as needed.
    • Promote and sell the complete value proposition and product offering of the NorthEast Enterprise Platform.
    • Actively support marketing events.
    • Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training
    • Clean driving record – 10% to 25% of time will be spent traveling to customers
    • Previous experience in the industry of electrical distribution a plus
