Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.SM   This position will be a part of the UnitedHealthcare Internal Communications team and will support and execute communication strategies and initiatives for UnitedHealthcare Operations executives and employees, as well as for the Internal Communications team. This person will report to the Director of Internal Communications.   Primary Responsibilities:   Research and communication planning for Operations employees. Consult with experts across the company to inventory communications and analyze impact to employees. Use data and investigative inputs to make communications recommendations. Send mass communications to UnitedHealthcare employees based on Internal Communications team direction. Coordinate logistics, manage and execute material development, and maintain archive for executive visits with employees in field offices. Coordinate logistics and collateral in field offices that tell the UnitedHealthcare story Create presentations, communications plans and other materials as required. Support the Internal Communications team as needed. Produce high-quality communication materials and recommendations Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies Creative thinking, the ability to understand the relationships and interconnections among projects, and logistics management are crucial success factors. Work in a collaborative setting with UnitedHealthcare Internal and External Communications and UnitedHealth Group Corporate Communications teams. Navigates across a complex organization to find information.   Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or higher)  in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations 3+ years of corporate internal communications, public relations, or journalism experience. Writing and editing skills with knowledge in Associated Press style. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft programs (e.g., Excel - create reports, PowerPoint - create presentations, SharePoint - manage sites) and Adobe Master Collection programs (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver) Basic knowledge in editing and creating HTML, and ivideo/audio file editing and file conversion Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
