Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator: To support program growth and community recognition of wound care services for UnityPoint Health Peoria Region. Responsibilities Key Accountability: Marketing/Networking · Works with Manager and/or Executive Director of Wound Care in developing marketing plans. · Coordinates the implementation of the marketing plan; collects referral data and works with the Manager and/or Executive Director to analyze the data. · Monitors the effectiveness of the plan and makes suggestions to modify as needed. · Ensures active involvement with professional contacts, health fairs, trade shows, conferences and other events that cultivate referrals; tracks referral results. · Establishes and maintains contacts, referrals and potential referral information. · Actively gathers and maintains information about competitors and provides input on counter strategies · Assists in development of pamphlets and other marketing related materials and ensures adequate inventory is on hand. · Works with the UPH marketing department to ensure the Wound Care website content is relevant and up to date. Key Accountability: Community Education · Cultivates training opportunities for the community and professionals. · Ensures all aspects of training (e.g., written materials, logistics such as location, room presenters, materials, etc.) are addressed completely and professionally. · Stays thoroughly informed about all clinical services and maintains liaison with the Marketing Director on all media and public education or information projects. · Assists Manager and/or Executive Director with the development and management of the community education plan. · Develops an annual training calendar. · Coordinates regular educational in-services for wound care professionals, hospital/program staff and the community. · Ensures community education events are well attended. Key Accountability: Referral Support · Establishes and maintains contacts, referrals, and potential referral information. · Coordinates inquiries, assessments, and admission process with the Referral Center. · Works with the Referral Center to improve referral/intake process. · Coordinates admissions with Referral Center and Wound Care department staff. · Ensures follow-up contact occurs with referral sources. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in the field(s) of Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field required. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in/with marketing, sales, customer service, or business development required.
