Mountain Youth Academy is seeking a dynamic and talented Adolescent Therapist licensed and/or eligible for license in the State of Tennessee. Mountain Youth Academy, a freestanding 84-bed facility, located in Mountain City Tennessee. We having been providing residential treatment care to students since 2001. We are dedicated to the provision of quality care and assistance for individuals and families in need of residential treatment. Therapist Position Summary: The Therapist completes clinical assessments and provides psychotherapy to individuals/groups/families. Key Responsibilities include: * Conduct psychosocial assessment with students upon admission to facility within required time frames * Provide individual, group and family therapy * Collaborate with other staff in coordinating therapeutic services * Coordinate activities to ensure that treatment plan goals and objectives are met * Maintain accurate, complete, timely and appropriate clinical records and other required information * Develop Master Treatment Plans upon admission and updates in conjunction with the treatment team * Complete discharge planning * Other duties as indicated Job Requirements Position Requirements: Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related degree. (we provide supervision for licensure) Experience: One (1) year clinical experience preferably in a residential setting preferred. Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Tennessee as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC and/or eligible for licensure. Additional Requirements: Experience providing individual, group and family therapy. Must be available to work weekends.
