Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures by radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable methods in the Imaging Department, Operating Rooms, Emergency Department, and Patient Rooms following professional technical standards and hospital specific protocols to produce medically useful radiographic images. Interacts with patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric and all types of illnesses. We work collaboratively with our community and other health organizations to serve as a resource for health promotion and education.

Qualifications

Education & Training: Successful completion of an AMA-approved two-year course in Radiologic Technology. Must be board certified through ARRT (RT-R). Must possess Maryland Board of Physicians Radiographer license. BLS required.

Work Orientation & Experience: Relevant experience is preferred.
