    2 Central is a medical/surgical telemetry unit that will be opening later this year as part of exciting programmatic changes and new initiatives taking place at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. Be a part of this new unit and team from the beginning and play a role in shaping our future and path forward through this unique and riveting opportunity.

    Job Summary:
    The Clinical Nursing Intern is a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, that delivers quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed professional and in accordance with the individualized plan of care to ensure the continuity of care.

    Education

    • Non Degree Program: Accredited School of Nursing with evidence of completion each semester. (Required)
    • Vocational / Technical Degree: Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required)

    Certification / Licensure / Registration

    • BLS Certification (Required)
    • State registered certification for C.N.A. or G.N.A. (Required) or Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required)
